As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 09:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.Maintain professional communication with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a respectful environment for all individuals.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.Access control and badge experience is preferred.An armed guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
