As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity and puts people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.07 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor records, and report access concerns according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Experience with alarm panels is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
