As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors and items, monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and providing exceptional customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative team, where people come first and integrity drives every action.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $16.50 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.Screen visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with access-control requirements; verify credentials, direct individuals to appropriate areas, and maintain accurate visitor records.Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and assigned areas for unusual activity; report concerns and potential policy violations to appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance, access, and security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
