As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, repair and fabrication workspaces, yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and visitor activity; verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.Observe and report hazardous conditions, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
