Security OfficerThe Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at assigned properties through patrols, observation, customer service, and incident reporting. This position serves as a visible presence and responds appropriately to security, safety, and property-related concerns.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct interior and exterior patrols of propertiesObserve and report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, and property damageMonitor assigned propertiesAssist tenants, visitors, and vendorsAddress safety concernsComplete incident reports and daily activity logsCommunicate important information to coworkers and supervisorsRespond to emergencies following established proceduresContact emergency services when requiredRequired Skills & AbilitiesStrong communication and observation skillsAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgmentReliable attendance and transportationProficient in Microsoft Word and basic computer skillsEducationHigh school diploma or GED preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, climb stairs, and perform physical job duties throughout a scheduled shiftAbility to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.Must be able to remain alert, attentive, and responsive throughout the entire overnight shift (ex. 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM)About Harristown Inc. and Harrisburg Property Services, LLCFor more than 50 years, we've strengthened our community through property management, real estate development, and a shared commitment to integrity, teamwork, and service.
