As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related situations, including assisting with restraint incidents and morgue-area access. Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture puts people first through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.63 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, access concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity.Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and documentation of incidents and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Meet hospital vaccination requirements.Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.Be able to restrain individuals as needed.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
