As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will help foster a welcoming environment while responding to security-related needs and using technology as needed. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 06:00 AM - 10:00 AMTue 06:00 AM - 10:00 AMWed 06:00 AM - 10:00 AMThur 06:00 AM - 10:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas when needed.Document observations, incidents, and actions taken through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.Minimum Requirements:A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
