Security Officer I (Part-time)Job title: Security Officer IDepartment / Division: Protection Services / HRSalary Range $20.61 - $25.46 per hourLocation: Quincy and Ephrata, WAWhat We're Looking For:We are looking for a security professional who can deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety of our people and property. Our Protection Services officers provide around-the-clock security services at our facilities, 7 days a week. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for site security leadership. You will be the first responder whenever a situation is reported. A lot of your time would be spent walking security routes on the property, which is done regardless of the weather, and performing security checks. You will also handle alarm issues and facility access control. The site is a 75,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility that processes botanical ingredients for our products. These are part-time positions but will come with full benefits (medical/401(k)/Holiday). We have 32- and 24-hour-per-week positions, Friday - Monday or Saturday - Monday. You will also be the first option to pick up extra shifts when they become available.Required qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferredValid State Driver's License requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a Washington State CPLSkills to be successful in the role:A passion to deliver a high level of customer serviceProficiency in Microsoft OfficeA "team player" approach demonstrating enthusiasm and a positive attitude by being a dependable teammate with business maturityFlexibility to work different schedules, shifts and locationsDemonstrated skill in the following: Report writing, Communication, Problem-solving, Conflict Management, Time Management, Decision MakingWhat's special about this team:As part of the Protection Services Department, you'll manage the security needs of Amway's people and properties. The Protection Services team is focused on providing physical security, loss prevention, emergency management, and business support services along with best-in-practice enterprise security risk management strategies. This is an interesting and meaningful role responsible for the safety and security of Amway employees, IBOs, guests, and facilities.
