As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $24.18 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site requirements.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
