As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to facility needs with integrity and teamwork. Join a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri05:50 AM - 06:00 PMSun05:50 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and/or hazards.Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific policies and healthcare privacy practices.Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.Minimum Requirements:Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.Experience with alarm panels is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
