You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, assist with badge-related activities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Bring your reliability, integrity, and teamwork to a caring, agile, and innovative organization that puts people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $21.32 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PMThur 05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government locations.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and completely in required reports and logs.Minimum Requirements:A guard card or license is preferred.Experience with access control and badges is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
