As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.63 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.Report hazards, policy violations, equipment concerns, and suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
