As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring your customer service and communication skills to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.60 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
