You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. Using computer or tablet systems, you will document activity and communicate clearly while contributing to an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $24.84 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 12:00 AM - 08:30 AMWed 12:00 AM - 08:30 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.Help maintain awareness of conditions that may affect operations, including access control concerns, equipment-related alarms, and environmental conditions, and communicate findings to site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Have customer service experience, preferred.Have access control or badge experience, preferred.Possess a guard card or license, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
