As an Access Control Officer at a retail and mall location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. You will use communication and customer service skills to support security-related operations, report concerns, and help deter incidents. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, and innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and retail patrons while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, manage visitor and vendor access, and maintain accurate access-control records for the property.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, retail locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and access-control reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.Guard card is required.A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.Be at least 21+ years of age for role.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
