As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and patients. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture and teamwork put people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.25 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, laboratory-adjacent areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting hazards, access-control concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
