As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors while responding to routine concerns with professionalism. Join Allied Universal, where our agile, reliable, innovative team puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and administrators by carrying out site-specific procedures, school district policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and emergency responders as directed.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and reporting unusual conditions.Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Minimum Requirements:CPR certification is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
