As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $27.90 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
