As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $15.48 / HourWeekly PayJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within an industrial location.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access to the property by verifying authorized entry, observing deliveries and contractor activity, and documenting visitor and vehicle information in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate incident reports.Observe manufacturing and industrial operations for security-related concerns, report hazards or maintenance issues to site contacts, and maintain detailed daily activity logs.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
