As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative team, where a caring culture and teamwork put people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $13.92 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting incidents to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding emergency personnel as needed.Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
