Emergency Department Security OfficerPAY RATE: $18.52 - $26.86 BASED ON RELEVANT EXPERIENCECOMPETITIVE BENEFITS Click here to review our complete Total Rewards Guide.Retirement + matchingUp to 4 weeks paid time off in first yearOnsite childcare - Quincy24/7 Wellness Center accessEducational assistance opportunitiesJOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for promoting a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling parking lots, protecting physical assets, responding to all security issues and maintaining good working relationships with local law enforcement agencies and the Emergency Department officers will need to keep an open line of communication with the Emergency Department staff. Emergency Department Security Officer(s) will serve as the law enforcement liaison. Ability to lift/move/carry objects or persons. Ability to restrain combative patients. Escort incarcerated patients and/or assist law enforcement personal to various hospital areas to maintain hospital policy. Security Officer(s) specified to Emergency Department only will be required to attend daily Emergency Department huddles.This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.
