As a Screener in a government court setting, you will use screening equipment and access-control procedures to support a secure, welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and judicial personnel. You will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $25.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 08:00 AM - 04:30 PMTue 08:00 AM - 04:30 PMWed 08:00 AM - 04:30 PMPre-Employment Requirement: 21+ Years of Age (C101)What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and other occupants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.Screen individuals and belongings entering the facility using designated screening equipment and established access-control procedures.Monitor entry points, verify authorized access as directed, and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
