As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and/or items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting smooth operations. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity put people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $16.82 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a logistics and distribution location.Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or belongings in accordance with established screening procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items as directed.Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; verify credentials and maintain required logs and documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and reporting procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
