Job Description
As a Security Officer Secure Access Systems in Fountain Inn, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing badge access, monitoring entry points and alarm systems, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to support daily operations. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial distribution location.
Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining visitor records, and communicating entry requirements.
Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document incidents, access-control activity, and unusual conditions in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
