Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access CoordinationJoin Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Bring your communication skills and integrity to a caring, team-focused culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat02:45 PM - 10:45 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report security-related concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.Minimum Requirements:Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.Access control/badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
