As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control and badge activities, and provide welcoming customer service. You will use technology to document observations and communicate with teams, reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture and commitment to integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $22.25 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeTue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct guests in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Hold CPR certification, preferred.Have customer service experience, preferred.Have access control and badge experience, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
