As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Join a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 10:00 AM - 08:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 08:00 PMWed 06:15 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with directing guests to appropriate government offices or services.Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, unusual occurrences, and patrol observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A Guard Card or license is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
