Job description
Dustin Construction is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant – Construction Accounting to join our accounting team.
As the volume and complexity of our accounting needs continue to increase, we’re looking for someone who can bring strong accounting experience, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction accounting to the team.
What You’ll Do: Manage key accounts payable functions, vendor records, compliance, and lien releases
Support project billing, reimbursables, and job cost accounting
Maintain accounting integrations between Procore and ERP systems
Manage subcontractor payables, commitments, and change orders
Prepare account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close
Support cost-to-complete reviews, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits
Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong accounting, AP, reconciliation, and financial reporting experience
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems
Construction accounting experience REQUIRED
Experience with Procore, Sage, and/or hh2 is a plus
CPA preferred, but not required
We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving construction environment.
