Senior Accountant, Consolidations | Fairfield County, CT
I’m working with a fast-growing, global organization that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its corporate consolidations team. The company has a significant international footprint, continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions, and offers strong exposure to a complex, multi-entity accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Prepare consolidation, elimination, and intercompany journal entries
- Handle accounting across multiple entities and currencies
- Assist with consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules
- Support accounting integration for newly acquired businesses
- Assist with interim and year-end audits
- Work extensively within ERP and consolidation systems
- Help improve and automate accounting and reporting processes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- Consolidations and/or multi-entity accounting experience
- Experience within a mid-sized or large corporate accounting environment
- Strong ERP, consolidation system, and Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional services, construction, or another multi-entity environment is a plus
- CPA preferred, but not required
