Job Description
Ares Management Corporation ("Ares" or the "Firm") is a publicly traded, leading global alternative asset manager with approximately $672 billion of assets under management ("AUM") and approximately 4,100 employees.
We seek to deliver attractive returns across each of our strategies and believe our investment groups are market leaders based on assets under management and investment performance. Our distinct but complementary teams have the ability to invest across a company’s capital structure, from senior debt to common equity. The Firm was built upon the fundamental principle that each group benefits from being part of the broader platform. We believe the synergies from this multi-asset strategy provides our professionals with insights into industry trends, access to significant deal flow and the ability to assess relative value. Since our inception in 1997, we have adhered to a disciplined investment philosophy that focuses on delivering compelling risk‑adjusted investment returns throughout market cycles. We believe our growth in becoming one of the largest alternative asset managers is a testament to our experienced management team, our focus on performance and our high‑quality investor base, which includes large pension funds, university endowments, sovereign wealth funds, banks and insurance companies.

Reconcile trustee reports, payment dates, waterfall calculations, collateral balances, liability balances, and cash accounts against internal records.
Support internal teams with ad hoc analysis related to CLO performance, liquidity, liability management, and deal-level reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
4 to 7 years of experience in structured finance, CLOs, leveraged loans, fund accounting, trustee operations, loan operations, or a related role.
Strong understanding of CLO structures, cash waterfalls, liability tranches, trustee reporting, and collateral administration preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex financial data across multiple sources.
