nAs a Senior Content Designer, you like being at the intersection of content and design. You understand that content that's well designed is easy to follow and understandable. As a champion for our users, you organize and present content in a meaningful way.

nYou will draw upon your knowledge of content, design and UX best practices, brand guidelines, accessibility standards and competitive research to simplify the user experience. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, engineering and other stakeholders with occasional direct support from your manager. You may also be called upon to mentor junior colleagues. When you have to show your work, you'll love the chance to participate and run workshops and design crits.

nExperience:

nnn5+ years experience in UX writing , UX Design or Content Design

n

nn2+ years experience with Agile and lean UX/software development practices, including using product management software (Rally, Jira)

n

nn2+ years experience in web and app experiences 

n

nn2+ years experience collaborating with internal team members, such as experience designers, accessibility experts  and product managers

n

nn2+ years experience in UX wire framing, UX flows, and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects with prototyping software such as Figma and Miro

n

nnExperience in health care, pharmacy or other regulated fields (insurance, finance, etc.)

n

nnExperience with translation and transcreation best practices

n

nnDeep knowledge of enterprise content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or similar

n

nnPortfolio should include work on digital products and/or services, service design or human centered designs

n

n nBasic Qualifications:

nnnExtensive experience with design software (Figma, Airtable, InVision, Miro)

n

nnExperience with AI tools (Claude-Code, Claude integration with MCPs, FigmaMake, etc.)

n

nnExperience collaborating across disciplines (design, design ops, research and usability, accessibility, product managers and engineering)

n

nnExperience in working with and improving business requirements

n

nnComfortable with UX and Usability terminology, taxonomies and practices, including Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methods, to solve problems and innovate

n

nnKnows how and when to use inventories and audits, content frameworks, competitive analysis and mapping

n

nnKnows when to collaborate and compromise and when to be the voice for the user and stand up for what's right.

n

n nKey Responsibilities

nnnTranslate complex concepts and processes into compelling, easy-to-follow design with exceptional content.

n

nnConduct UX research and champion data science to understand user behaviors and uncover new opportunities to reach customers with appropriate content and reduce friction.

n

nnCreate content and design ecosystems for multiple channels, devices and touch points across user journey flows, meeting user needs and adhering to enterprise standards.

n

nnChallenge the status quo and know when to advocate for new design patterns versus relying on old systems.

n

nnDrive collaboration with designers, product managers, and diverse business stakeholders to inform requirements to think beyond the product lifecycle and optimize content and user journey.

n

nnLead other content strategists/designers in developing user stories and providing guidance on priorities.

n

nnFacilitate workshops and design crits and own content reviews and iterations across stakeholders from product to legal.

n

n nEducation

nnBachelor or master's degree preferred in the field of Human Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, Technical Writing, English, or Journalism.  Extensive work experience, academic work or certifications in user experience fields are also welcome.

nPay Range

nThe typical pay range for this role is:

n$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

nThis pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
