Senior Engineer (Tech Lead)
Pay: $160,000 - $180,000 base salary
Location: Atlanta, GA (preferred) Otherwise; travel quarterly
Summary
Join a dynamic management consulting team at the forefront of change and digital transformation. As a Senior Engineer (Tech Lead), you will lead technical initiatives for a leading supply chain product team, designing scalable, reliable API-first microservices on cloud-native platforms, primarily Azure. Engage deeply in architecture, coding, and collaboration, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems like SAP and Salesforce. Drive innovation within a fast-paced environment, helping to modernize supply chain operations for a major consumer goods client.
Requirements
8+ years of enterprise software development experience, with hands-on coding in Java/Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and full-stack practices.
Proven expertise in API-first microservice architecture, system design, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong experience building cloud-native, event-driven solutions on Azure.
Ability to lead technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and mentor team members.
Nice To Have
Supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing domain knowledge.
SAP and transportation management system experience.
Familiarity with enterprise S&OP platforms like Anaplan or Kinaxis.
Experience in retail, consumer goods, or CPG industries.
Responsibilities
Lead a product team in designing and delivering scalable API-first services and microservices.
Define and oversee technical architecture, ensuring solutions adhere to security and quality standards.
Collaborate with product, design, and data teams for continuous discovery and rapid prototyping.
Write and review code, conduct architecture and pattern reviews, and ensure the team meets all Definition of Done criteria.
Partner with enterprise stakeholders to enable integration with SAP, Salesforce, and other core systems.
