Job DescriptionWe’re hiring: Senior/Lead Big Data Engineer

We’re looking for a senior- or lead-level Big Data Engineer who can take on complex technical challenges and communicate solutions clearly. This is a hybrid role based in Rockville, MD, or Tysons Corner, VA .
\ N
Must have’s:
\ N Manager wants a Sr-Lead level person in experience – who can solve hard problems
\ N Strong Communication and Problem-solving skills
\ N Spark
SQL orPython – must write the coding in high level
\ N Unit test
AWS – EMR, Glue, Athena, Lambda
\ N
What you’ll bring:
\ N Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark
\ N Advanced coding skills in SQL and/or Python
\ N Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
\ N AWS experience with EMR, Glue, Athena, and Lambda
\ N Strong communication and problem-solving skills
\ N The technical judgment to work through difficult problems and help drive solutions
