Role Description The Senior Loan Originator is a full-time, remote role responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial real estate bridge loans. Day-to-day activities include prospecting new borrowers, cultivating relationships with sponsors and intermediaries, and managing a pipeline of deals from initial inquiry through funding. The role involves analyzing property and borrower information, collaborating with underwriting to assess risk and pricing, and presenting financing options that align with client objectives. The Senior Loan Originator will coordinate with internal and external capital partners, oversee transaction documentation, and ensure timely, accurate communication with all stakeholders. This position also contributes to strategic growth initiatives by identifying market opportunities and providing feedback on products and lending programs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong loan origination and loans experience, particularly in commercial real estate and bridge financing.
Candidates should possess underwriting and finance skills, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
Candidates should possess mortgages knowledge relevant to commercial real estate lending, capital markets, and lending products.
Candidates should possess excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills to engage borrowers, brokers, and capital partners.
Proven track record of closing complex commercial real estate transactions and managing a high-volume deal pipeline.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize multiple deals, and meet deadlines under time-sensitive conditions.
Familiarity with loan documentation, regulatory considerations, and standard underwriting guidelines; experience with bridge or private lending is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in commercial lending.
