Job description
City of Austin's engineering division seeks an experienced protection engineer to design and evaluate power system protection schemes for transmission and distribution projects, ensuring compliance with NERC, FERC, ERCOT and TX PUC standards.
You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, manufacturers and inspectors, review drawings, perform protection studies, set relay configurations, mentor junior engineers and help manage project budgets and schedules.
