Senior Project Engineer – Water & Wastewater
Full-time Hybrid Cranberry, PA $120,000 to $150,000 + Sign-On Bonus
Why This Role Lead the municipal water and wastewater projects that keep communities across Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic running. GAI Consultants is a 1,100-person infrastructure consulting firm. On our Cranberry Water & Wastewater team, you'll own projects from concept through construction and work directly with senior leadership to grow our utility and municipal client base.
What You'll Do
Lead design of water distribution, wastewater collection, pump station, storage, treatment, and rehabilitation projects
Deliver calculations, reports, specifications, bid packages, and cost estimates
Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers
Advise clients through meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagement
Support proposals and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) planning
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and valid driver's license
Water and sewer design or rehabilitation experience
Utility permitting and regulatory coordination experience
Construction administration or field support experience
Experience preparing plans, specifications, and bid documents
Preferred: Treatment facility and pump station design; proposal and business development experience.

Travel: 10%–15%, mostly within Western Pennsylvania, with occasional Mid-Atlantic travel.
