The role also involves acting as technical liaison with customers, suppliers and collaborators on software-related matters.
Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the specification, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of software supporting the company's products and services.
Provide support, advice and mentorship to less experienced colleagues, acting as a role model for junior staff.
Act as technical liaison, internally and externally, with customers, suppliers and collaborators on software matters.
Undertake additional project tasks as required by management.
About You
We are looking for a skilled software engineer with strong C++ expertise and proven experience taking projects through the full software development life cycle.
Qualifications
A good degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar).
Experience
You will ideally have:
Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of C++.
Experience of taking projects through the full software development life cycle.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Good understanding of Microsoft Visual Studio (2022/2026).
Experience with GUI/UX or HCI would be desirable.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell) would be advantageous.
Why Apply?
This is a great opportunity to join a specialist engineering team working on genuinely innovative products within navigation and radar technology. You'll take real ownership of software projects end-to-end, mentor junior colleagues, and act as a key technical point of contact with customers and partners.
If you're a C++ specialist with full SDLC experience looking for your next senior role, we'd like to hear from you.
