Senior Software Engineer - Backend & Agentic AI
AI4Science - Therapeutics
Join a unicorn startup leading the way in generative AI for drug discovery & biological simulation , founded by a team of industry-leading and award-winning scientists . This opportunity would see you working on the backend systems powering their latest agentic research product .
Responsibilities
Connect AI models to scientific tools & datasets
Build agentic interfaces for scientists to run experiments
Design & build the systems powering long-running workflows
Partner closely with Scientists , Therapeutics experts, and other Engineers
Requirements
5+ years experienceusing Python for backend development
Strong experience in LLM applications, agentic frameworks, MCP etc.
Familiar with reliability & observability for complex systems
Experience working with biological/biomedical data e.g AlphaFold, Bioinformatics, Genomics etc.
Strong communication and cross-functional working skills
