GPD is currently seeking aCivil Engineer for ourSite Development team located in ourAkron and Independence, OH office locations. This role will provide civil site design work for industries like Retail/Commercial, K-12 Education, Public/Federal Buildings and Healthcare.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience in Site Development Design a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with site planning, engineering, project coordination.
Ability to work with senior engineers/designers and meet respective deadlines.
Must possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a multi-tasking work environment.
Solid background in AutoCAD/Civil 3D design.
Proficiency in grading and storm water management design preferred.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
Day-to-day job responsibilities:
Site planning and coordination.
Grading and storm water management design.
Design coordination with internal engineers and architects.
Background coordination with our internal team of surveyors, environmental specialists, and geotechnical crew.
