Role Overview
Help shape the conversation around production search systems, with a focus on agentic search in the LLM era. This opportunity is designed for engineers who can discuss how search quality, evaluation, system requirements, and optimization decisions play out in real-world products.
Key Responsibilities
Share practical experience owning relevance or retrieval for systems used by real customers.
Explain how you measured impact and evaluated improvements to search systems.
Discuss systems you have built for agentic search.
Describe how you scaled data infrastructure to support modern search experiences.
Qualifications
Experience shipping production search systems, particularly agentic search systems.
Strong understanding of the requirements and optimizations involved in LLM- and agent-enabled search.
Ability to speak specifically about search-quality decisions, evaluation methods, tradeoffs, and lessons from real implementations.
Work Terms
Remote, per-task engagement.
The initial step is a 25-minute conversational interview with no coding exercise or take-home assignment.
Selected candidates may be invited to a paid 30-minute live conversation with the team.
Compensation
Per-task compensation range: $80 to $150.
The follow-up live conversation pays $200 upon completion of the call.
