Standard Job Description

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Be More Than You Can Imagine.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Be More Than You Can Imagine.

Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities enable F-35 pilots to locate and track enemy forces, jam radars and disrupt attacks with unparalleled effectiveness. Advanced avionics give the pilot real-time access to battle space information with 360-degree coverage and an unparalleled ability to dominate the tactical environment. Data collected by sensors on the F-35 will immediately be shared with commanders at sea, in the air or on the ground, providing an instantaneous, high-fidelity view of ongoing operations - making the F-35 a formidable force multiplier while enhancing coalition operations. This system allows F-35 pilots to reach well-defended targets and suppress enemy radars.

The F-35 Mission Data organization is in need of an Infrastructure Lead to drive the technical direction of our deployment environments and microservices tool stack on the Common Reprogramming Tool (CRT). The CRT will effectively provide our customers with a more efficient, robust approach to rapidly reprogram Mission Data Files (MDFs) for F-35 mission operations.

As the infrastructure lead, the selected candidate will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our deployment environments and microservices tool stack. This role will require understanding of container orchestration (Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes), Service Mesh (Istio), secure FOSS Authentication (Keycloak, OAuth2-proxy), and core database/cache technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Valkey) product development, maintenance, and deployment automation.

Candidate must be able to obtain a clearance and must process for a company-sponsored secret clearance prior to start.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Experience configuring, deploying, and managing Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) Authentication stacks (Keycloak and OAuth2-proxy or similar) for securing containerized microservices
