Description
Under the supervision of the Solar Field Foreman, the Solar Journeyman is responsible to assist in building solar arrays with speed and accuracy.

General wiring knowledge

Comfortable working on various roofs. (Pitched / Flat)
Assures compliance with the company and customer safety policies and practices
Available to travel (stay out of town) for projects. (Working Monday-Thursday, anywhere from 1.5 hours - 4.5 hours from shop)
Responsible for the safeguards of company equipment, tools and vehicles as well as notification and identifying maintenance needs or issues.
Complies with company's core values and appearance to promote a positive company image and culture
Ensures that good housekeeping practices are maintained
Requirements
Skills / Abilities / Attributes Ability to do repetitive tasks consistently managing production efficiently
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in various construction environments
Ability to work outdoors in various weather elements
Exercises effective verbal, written and electronic communication skills
Capable of clearly understanding and following directions/instructions
Education, Experience, and/or Certification Requirements High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation
Understanding of compliance with NEC and local codes
