Job description
Make a significant impact supporting students' growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a local school-based contract opportunity. This flexible role offers both full-time and part-time options for the remainder of the school year, working with a motivated middle school caseload. You'll focus on providing essential speech and language services while collaborating with educators and families to help every student reach their communication goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid SLP license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents is strongly preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
Deliver direct therapy services to middle school students, both individually and in groups
Collect and interpret data to measure student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to promote optimal student outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
