Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time
nLocation: Carlisle, PA
nA skilled nursing setting in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) . This role is responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing speech-language therapy programs to help residents regain communication and swallowing functions and improve overall quality of life.
nResponsibilities
nn Provide high-quality speech-language pathology services in accordance with established standards and facility procedures
n Evaluate residents and obtain data necessary for effective treatment planning
n Develop individualized treatment plans, including targeted interventions and short- and long-term goals
n Implement therapy programs addressing communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders
n Educate residents, families, and staff on speech-language strategies to support continued progress
n Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
n nQualifications
nn Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Pennsylvania
n Master’s degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program
n Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates considered
n BLS Certification required
