Senior Accounts Payable SpecialistRobert Half is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company that is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of its day-to-day AP operations. This role is a great fit for someone who knows AP inside and out and is comfortable working with Purchasing, Operations, Inventory, and vendors.This isn't a basic invoice-entry position — you'll be expected to troubleshoot discrepancies, understand the flow of purchasing and receiving, and help improve the AP process.Responsibilities:Own the full-cycle AP process for a high-volume manufacturing environmentReview and approve invoice coding and supporting documentationPerform three-way matching between POs, receipts, and invoicesResearch pricing, quantity, freight, and tax discrepanciesManage vendor statements and account reconciliationsMaintain vendor master informationPrepare payment batches and manage payment schedulesMonitor AP aging and cash requirementsResearch duplicate payments, credits, and outstanding itemsCoordinate with Purchasing and Receiving to resolve invoice issuesAssist with monthly AP accruals and closePrepare AP reconciliations and management reportsSupport 1099 preparation and year-end activitiesAssist with internal and external audit requestsIdentify opportunities to improve invoice processing and automationHelp train or provide guidance to junior AP staff
