nJob Responsibilities:
nAs a Pharmacist you will manage technicians and work with other Pharmacists. You will also be responsible for receiving written prescription or refill requests and verifying that information is complete and accurate in retail setting.
nAdditional responsibilities:
nEstablishing or maintaining patient profiles
nAnswering telephones, responding to questions or requests.
nPre packing bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and typing and affixing labels
nAssisting customers by answering simple questions, locating items.
nMaintain highest level of customer relations.
nProvide highest level of patient care in providing pharmaceutical dispensing and consulting services.
nFill prescriptions and promote patient communication.
nDirect pharmacy assistant, technicians, clerks or interns.
nKeep abreast of new items, changing laws, regulations and new pharmacy-related programs through participation in continuing education courses and reviewing pharmacy-related literature.
nOversee inventory proceedings. Authorize either directly or through subordinates the purchase of drugs, supplies and equipment within budget guidelines and signing authorities established by management.
nCommunicate with Pharmacy Owner on progress and policies of pharmacy department.
nCarry out daily housekeeping, cleanliness and sanitation program as established within company guidelines.
nMaintain a high level of professionalism, consistent with company standards, in dress, personal appearance and grooming.
nConsult regularly with the Pharmacy Owner for the purpose of maximizing sales and controlling expenses for the pharmacy department as well as to insure consistency of policy between all pharmacy personnel.
nOther duties as directed by the Pharmacist Owner.

nCurrent California Board of Pharmacy license to practice pharmacy in good standing with no restrictions
