Step Line Leader 2nd ShiftLocation: Winston Salem, North CarolinaSalary: $17.00 - $17.00Job Category: Light IndustrialCoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a 2nd Shift Step Line Leader in the Winston Salem, NC area! The Assembly Line Leader position is responsible for overseeing a production line within an Assembly plant, ensuring maximum productivity and quality. Temp to Hire Opportunity!Responsibilities:Use the Work Order as a guide to understand job requirements and specifications, assign individual tasks, and train and direct the temporary staff accordinglySet-up or assist with line set-up as needed, using the line diagramResponsible for inventory control, tracking and reconciliation of customer product, ensuring product is properly placed on the line and kept in good supply as needed for completion of the shift's production and for the start of the next shift, if applicableOversee and monitor production flow on the line, trouble shoot problems, make equipment adjustments as needed, and recommend and institute line improvementsCommunicate with the customer on daily operations, safety, and headcount as neededEnsure that the finished product meets all specifications outlined in the Work OrderEnsure adherence to Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP's)Understand and demonstrate safety behaviors and ensure all temporary staff are in compliance with all safety procedures, including maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment and work areasPerform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by a supervisor and/or customerDesired Background/Skills:Must be 18 years old or olderApplicants must have a resume demonstrating at least five years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a warehouse environment.
