Locums - Charleston - Neurosurgery / Neuroendovascular Opening Assignment Details
Start: ASAP End: June 30, 2026 Coverage Need: Approximately 4 days per month Reason for Coverage: PTO, CME, and supplemental call support Practice Setting Hospital-based coverage EMR: eClinicalWorks Support Staff: No midlevel support Clinical Responsibilities Provide ED consult coverage for trauma call Manage neurosurgical and neuroendovascular cases Perform stroke interventions Average 6-10 consults per call shift (volume varies based on acuity) Collaborate with hospital teams for patient management Requirements Dually trained in Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular - Required Board Certified - Required Active South Carolina License - Required Must be comfortable managing both open neurosurgical and endovascular cases Neurointerventional Radiologists will NOT be considered Additional Details Call volume varies depending on patient acuity and service needs Coverage needs are flexible based on provider availability What RecruitWell Provides A+ rated malpractice coverage Weekly direct deposit 24/7 dedicated recruiter support Professional onboarding and credentialing assistance Prepaid travel and lodging RecruitWell's Core Values Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
