Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab results
Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
Provide in-depth intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and handing over surgical instruments during procedures
Deliver exceptional care pre- and post-surgery, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients
Qualifications
Master's qualification from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practices is highly advantageous
Certifications Required
Valid and unencumbered PA-C certification
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
Desired Skills
