This role will be onsite at our Easton Oval office in Columbus, OH.
Summary:
The Technical Lead, Software Developer will be a highly skilled professional who will provide technical leadership in solving highly complex data, hardware, software or process initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides strategic technical and consultative leadership and ownership on the most complex technical matters.
Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon identified user specifications.
Provides technical leadership in solving highly complex data, hardware, software or process problems.
May address problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
Expected to proactively identify areas of opportunity and/or risk and to drive their ultimate resolution.
Possesses across the board knowledge of the Huntington technical environment and how the various systems are interconnected.
Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
Expected to coach and mentor others on direct team, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Serves as project leader for specific projects, which are highly complex and strategic in nature.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of equivalent experience in Software Development.
7 years of hand-on software development OOP experience.
1 years of technical lead experience, coaching/mentoring others.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
2 years of experience working with Springboot, or microservice architecture.
Experience working in multi-cloud environments, AWS & Google Cloud Platform.
Technical knowledge of ETL/ELT lifecycle.
Strong communication skills & ability to connect teams towards common goals.
